- Strong knowledge in patent searching and analysis in Life Sciences and Chemistry (Immunology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, Food Science, Biochemistry, Physical/Organic Chemistry), including using paid databases like Questel Orbit, Derwent Innovation and MS Office (especially MS Excel).
- Expertise in Landscape/State of Art searches, including identifying trends and preparing graphical insights from raw data.
- Expertise in FTO/Clearance search and providing technical opinion.
- Expertise in performing end-to-end searches, with no/minimal supervision, including making technical and IP strategy decisions.
- Leading searches in a small team and taking accountability and ownership of the deliverables, including proactive raising of timely flags with the manager, coordinating between the manager, the team and for the client. Upgrading quality of the deliverables basis the technical and IP strategy perspectives, and maintaining timelines.
- Participating in client calls and providing input to the clients on solutions/approach, based upon their requirements. Proactively identifying and writing on points/issues/suggestions, to be communicated to the client, during the course of project.
- Identifying and applying smart approaches to review deliverables, performing quality checks, identifying discrepancies in raw Excel data, and coming up with solutions in the briefest timeline.
- Maintaining overall productivity at individual and team levels.
- Proactively preparing work processes, methods to identify gaps in the workflow, and developing solutions to address the challenges.
- Handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the quality, productivity, and timelines of the projects.
- Efficient management of project and team members.
- Training the team based on individual level requirements, and strengthen the overall team expertise.
- Assisting managers in pre-sales, proposals, and ad-hoc requests, while handling regular projects.
